Houselab

The project focuses on the renovation and expansion of the former EB Estradinha, a school building from the 1960s, while fully preserving its exterior architectural style. The work on the existing building focused exclusively on reorganizing the interior spaces, adapting them to current standards of comfort, accessibility, and functionality, without altering its exterior appearance.

The expansion designed to accommodate the daycare facility was conceived as a continuation of the original architecture, respecting its proportions, scale, and materials, in order to ensure a unified and coherent appearance for the complex as a whole. The result is a renovated educational facility where preservation and contemporary design are balanced and seamlessly integrated.
