The new building serves as an extension of the existing sports facility, located within the block housing the Mondim de Basto Elementary and Secondary School, thereby strengthening the functional cohesion of this complex.

Intended for the municipal swimming pool, the facility was designed to ensure appropriate conditions for sports and recreational activities, serving both the school community and the general public. The proposal addresses the needs identified by the municipality, providing the municipality with a high-quality, multipurpose infrastructure that plays a key role in supporting educational activities and promoting sports.
